Rare Cars From the Hooper Corporate Collection to be Sold

Rolls Royce

Since the early 1800s, Hooper coachwork has been known for outstanding quality, elegance and exclusivity. The company specialized in the very top end of the market building the most luxurious automotive bodies possible for clients who did not take cost into consideration. And, for the better part of the 20th Century, Hooper focused its efforts on Rolls-Royce and Bentley motor cars.

RM Auctions has been chosen to consign 23 cars from the Hooper Corporate Collection at their October 27th, 2010 Automobiles of London auction. The selection ranging from a superb recreation of AX 201, the famed 1907 Silver Ghost Roi-de-Belges, to more modern cars such as a Vector W8 Twin Turbo.

Several of the more modern Rolls-Royces are custom, one-off examples constructed by Hooper with enormous price tags, and still others have been on display for many years in the Auto & Technik Museum in Sinsheim, Germany.
